The You Dirty RAT also provides 3 dB more compression than the original RAT. This not only provides more “tube amp warmth,” but adds extra sustain.
The You Dirty RAT features the legendary RAT Filter control. Turn it to the right to roll off brittle high-end frequencies. Having trouble cutting through the mix? Turn the Filter down and allow the natural brightness of your instrument to shine through. The Distortion and Volume controls dial in the perfect amount of gain while keeping the level consistent with your clean tone. Vaseline Hand And Nail Lotion
This leaves my hands soft and protected but like some other reviewers, I have noticed a difference.
Even after shaking the tube, to try to mix the lotion, it was still runny. It came out a little thicker but slid off of my hand. I’m not sure if this is old stock that separated or if the formula just changed from the last time I bought it, but something is different. It also has a different scent than I recall, as well. It’s not unpleasant, just lightly lemon-y, but it is different from what I remember.
The consistency and the scent are both different but it doesn’t seem to affect the efficacy.

Don’t buy
Bottle is smaller and different color than what is shown in listing. Lotion is VERY runny/watery and have a strong fragrance scent. Contacted Vaseline by email and was informed to throw it away as product wasn’t made by them.
